Audrey Gutsche — Multidisciplinary Artist & Creative Force
Audrey’s creative journey began in graphic design, where she first explored the interplay between concept and craft. While working at a small print shop early in her career, she met a retired special effects makeup artist—a chance encounter that sparked her fascination with transformation and illusion. This led her to pursue esthetics, earning a diploma in Beauty Makeup and Esthetics from the Alberta Academy of Aesthetics in 2001. In 2022, she furthered her expertise by earning a Master’s Diploma in Prosthetic Fabrication, Global Makeup, SPFX, Body Painting, and Airbrushing from One Beauty Academy.
Today, Audrey works across a wide spectrum of makeup and effects, including film, fashion, boudoir, editorial, bridal, and SPFX. Her meticulous work spans both ends of the beauty spectrum—whether enhancing natural elegance or creating monsters and gore with lifelike precision. She is also experienced in prosthetic fabrication and sculpting, bringing a hands-on, detail-oriented approach to creating custom pieces that elevate storytelling in visual media.
Her talents also extend beyond the makeup chair. Audrey is a skilled and imaginative nail artist, known for her intricate designs and fine-detail work that reflect the same level of creativity and craftsmanship seen across all her projects.
Her artistry expands into unexpected corners: she sculpts hyper-realistic 3D cakes, builds custom wood pieces, renovates spaces, and designs practical gags and props for film. Her work is hands-on, highly detailed, and rooted in storytelling—whether she’s airbrushing a prosthetic, shaping a nail masterpiece, baking a towering cake, or building a memorable visual effect.
She is also the founder and sole operator of Inferno Beauty Bar, her private in-home esthetics studio, where she offers full services to select clientele, including nails, skincare, and beauty treatments.
“My ultimate goal—whether I’m preparing a bride for the most important day of her life, designing nails that double as art, or building a prosthetic effect that lives on in a viewer’s memory—is always the same: to bring to life the vision inside my client’s mind.”
Outside the studio, Audrey is a high-energy, hands-on creator and thrill-seeker: a passionate motorcycle and motocross enthusiast, dancer, and fitness fan who finds joy in both movement and mastery.
